Poarch was later a United States Navy officer and was stationed for a few months in Japan. Bella confessed that her parents were abusive towards her and to the brother she had. Bella also said she was not able to make friends at her school. Poarch started posting regularly to TikTok at the beginning of April in 2020. She posted lip sync-related videos (most famous is her video lip syncing Soph Aspin by Millie B, currently the TikTok's most liked video) and dance videos as well as blog skits, promotions and blogs. brought her fame.
